Jessica Rose

I was immersed in getting a tattoo in March of `25 to commemorate the passing of my brother the year prior. My Artist Ryane and I were laughing and crying together about grief, and how it takes over our bodies if we don’t honor it. By the end of the appointment we had journeyed together through time and space when they mentioned that it was their wife’s 40th birthday coming up. Ryane’s wife is one of my favorite women I have gotten to grow within  the Denver “Creative” scene. I offered to make a scent for Jess in honor of what I love about her and Ryane was thrilled!.

TBH I hate the scent of rose. It previously reminded me of a negative association when I was a child due to trauma.  I wanted to bring it back to life with a new  twist. I Love taking a scent that I hate ( in theory) and designing with it until I fall for that scent in a new way. When I was done I knew I had nailed it. It was going to be more than Jess’s scent, it was going to be my next big hit.
